Millionaire Word Club Deadline to read one million words is on May 1st. A field trip is planned for those who have read one million words on May 10th. Students must have an 85% or better grade average and be in good standings with no discipline referrals. Spring Book Fair The Spring Book Fair is planned for May 20th-24th in the library. The theme is Story Laboratory. Preview days will be on May 20th and 21st all day. Sales will begin after Field Day on the May 22nd and will stay open late until 4:30 p.m that evening. Taxes will apply to all purchases and we will accept cash, check and credit/debit cards. Volunteers are welcomed to help setup, facilitate and take down. Please visit with me for more information. Books and Fines All books are scheduled to be turned in by May 17th. Any late fines or lost book fines should be payed before May 31, 2013. AR Store The PTO will have our AR Store opened for 2nd-5th grade students on May 28th & 29th. Students who have read and tested on their books have accumulated points that earn them fabulous prizes. |
We now have eBooks! There are several ways to access the eBooks (electronic books). The student will use his/her AR username and password to login and download free books.
Students will be able to download two books at a time and will be able to read the book for eight days.
