  • bring all supplies, materials, and work daily, 
  • be seated and begin work immediately,
  • work purposefully towards our common and individual goals 
  • respect all people and possessions by taking care of business and belongings
  • turn in work on time
  • ask for help when you need it.

Homework:

Students should be reading every night for 30 minutes.  There is no better way to build vocabulary.  They will have an independent reading every month; sometimes, specific genre will be required, but other times students may read any type of book they want.  The book does not have to be AR, but they do receive a test grade for taking a test on the IR. 

Students also may be required to read in their Literature book as homework to be prepared for the next day's lesson.
