Hello Spicewood Families! 

This school year seems to be racing by so quickly!  I can't believe we're in the final nine weeks of the 2012-2013 school year!  Exciting things continue to happen every day in our classrooms!  I encourage you to make sure your child is present at our morning assembly each day which begins at 7:35.  This is a time when we share announcements and special awards and recognitions for students and staff.  In addition, Ms. Ellis teaches a short lesson on one of our character traits each week.  Please have your kids present and on time.  I also encourage you to be a part of the school excitement by asking your child to tell you what they've learned in school, by making sure they complete their homework, by making sure your child comes to school prepared and ready to learn and by keeping in contact with their teacher.  Remember you always have access to your students' grades  and attendance information by using the Family Access through Skyward.  A link is provided on the district home page as well as our campus home page.  Thank you for sharing your child with us!  We look forward to closing out the year with them learning and growing to their maximum potential!  Please remember if you ever have any questions, concerns or suggestions, I would be happy to visit with you.
